Area Summary
One of the best and most underrated bouldering areas in the Lakes. There are five different sectors in the Kentmere valley and all are featured on the topo. The best climbing is in the mid to harder grades, although some of the easier lines on Badger Rock are unmissable! The rock is generally compact and solid although it can be fairly abrasive. This combined with the lower levels of bracken make the winter months the optimum visiting period.
